Hello this is Mary from Handz English school MN branch.
I can’t believe July is almost over! Keep working hard and let’s have
some fun!
Some American schools have spirit week. This is a school week where
every day has a different theme. Some examples are crazy hair, p.j. day,
school colors, tacky clothes, or centennial day where students dress up
as grandparents (centennial =100).
Since the kids go back to school by the middle of August early September
(after Labor Day); spirit week usually happens around homecoming or
middle of the year. There is usually a big school dance or sporting
game. All of this is to help boost the kids excitement and spirits to
continue working hard for the rest of the year!
Crazy hair day at Handz was so much fun! Seeing the kids come in with
cute and fun hair was awesome! And seeing their reaction to me wearing a
wig was totally worth it!!
Our next spirit week is PJ day! This will be from Dates?
I hope to see soon you at Handz English School, event, or festival this
year!

アメリカの学校には「スピリット・ウィーク」という行事がありま
ユニークな髪型をする日（クレイジー・ヘア・デー）、パジャマで
こうした行事は、子供たちの気分を盛り上げ、これからも頑張ろう
「クレイジー・ヘア・デー」は本当に楽しかったです！子供たちが
次回のスピリット・ウィークは「パジャマ・デー」です！
