Otakanomori Blog
Hello everyone! Simon from Otakanomori .
This month some of the students have been talking about different times
of the day and their daily routines, especially what they do in the
afternoon.
For example, some students do homework or ride their bicycles and others
play soccer or learn to play the piano. It’s very interesting to hear
how active Japanese children are. I love to hear them talking about the
many fun hobbies they enjoy outside of school.
So, tell me …What do you do in the afternoon?
Also, students have been learning about furniture like sofa, bed and TV
and rooms in the house, such as living room dining room and kitchen. We
used the questions and answers “Where is the bed?” “It’s in the
bedroom.”
We have been practicing difficult words like ‘refrigerator’ and how to
say ‘fridge’ instead because its easier and more natural.
Students were also very shocked to learn that in England and America the
toilet and bathtub are both together in the bathroom. Does that sound
like a good idea to you?
Summer is here and it’s getting hotter every day.
Make sure you keep lots of cold drinks in the fridge!!
See you in class soon
