Hello! It’s Camron from ANNEX!
In June the students of the Begin Class learn about easy adjectives.
For example, big and small. These can be difficult to remember so we
make gestures for each adjective and play a matching game. The goal is
for students to find the adjectives that are the opposite of each
other or in easier terms their “pair”. We have all the cards face
down and have each student pick and flip up a card one at a time. As
they flip we say the word and make the gesture. If the cards are
opposites (a pair)then we move them to the side, if not they get
flipped face down. The students love this game and get excited when
they help their friends find a card pair.

こんにちは！流山おおたかの森ANNEX校のCamronです。
6月のBeginクラスでは、形容詞について学んでいます。例えば、「大きい（big）」や「小さい（small）」などです。これらの単語は覚えるのが少し難しいこともあるため、それぞれの形容詞にジェスチャーをつけて、マッチングゲームをしています。

ゲームの目標は、反対の意味を持つ形容詞同士、つまり「ペア」を見つけることです。カードをすべて裏向きに並べ、生徒たちが順番に1枚ずつめくります。カードをめくるたびに、その単語をみんなで言い、対応するジェスチャーも行います。

もし2枚のカードが反対の意味を持つペアであれば、そのカードを横に置きます。ペアでなければ、再び裏返します。生徒たちはこのゲームが大好きで、お友達がペアを見つけるのを手伝うと、とても嬉しそうにしています。
