Hi everyone! This is Julia from ANNEX!
We’re already in our second week of the new school year, and it’s been
great to see everyone settle into their new classes.
On the first day of class, older students(3rd and up) filled out a ‘My
Goal Sheet’ to help them think about what they want to accomplish this
year.
It made me start thinking about my goals, too!
One of my favorite parts of our lessons is practicing phonics. It’s so
exciting to see a student realize that they can read a word without any
help! So, my goal this year is to see more and more of our students read
using phonics.
What about you? What do you want to put extra effort into this year?

新学期が始まり2週間目に入りましたが、みなさんが新しいクラスに慣れてきている様子がみられ、とても嬉しいです。
初日のレッスンでは、3rdクラス以上の生徒たちが’My Goal Sheet(目標シート)’を記入し、今年なにを達成したいかを考えました。
それを見て、私自身の目標も考えるようになりました！レッスンの中で私が特に好きな時間の一つにフォニックスの練習があります。生徒が自分の力で単語を読めたと気づく瞬間は、本当にワクワクします！ですので、今年の私の目標は、フォニックスを使って読めるようになる生徒がどんどん増えるのをみることです。
