Hello! I’m Julia from our Minami Nagareyama.
On Monday, February 10th, our students came to practice their speech for
the Handz 20th Anniversary Speech Event. We had 19 students from Minami
Nagareyama join the event this year. We practiced very important parts
of public speaking; big voices, pacing, pronunciation, and eye contact.
These points can be difficult when you are nervous, but all of our
students worked hard to improve before the big day.
Joining a speech event, especially in another language, takes a lot of
courage. They decided to take on the challenge and each of them put a
lot of effort in. As I watched the students, I couldn’t help but feel
impressed and excited for them.
Everyone did so well on the Speech Event day. We are so proud of you and
are so happy to see how much you’ve accomplished in English so far. Keep
doing your best!
